Exciting news today! My terrorism thriller novel, Shattered, has officially been published! Shattered is very different than Awakening from the Shadows, both in style and in tone. It was definitely a fun experience to write in a new genre–to stretch those authorial muscles, as it were. I hope that if you enjoyed Awakening from the Shadows that you will also give Shattered a try even though it’s in a different genre. I will provide one note of caution, or at least of information: Shattered is a rather dark novel, and it deals with difficult subjects of terrorism and violence, so it’s not the book for you if you’re looking for a light, easy read. But I’m proud of how the novel turned out, and I hope that if you do decide to give it a try that you will find it to be time well spent.
With Shattered, I am experimenting with using KDP Select, which means that for now Shattered will be available exclusively through Amazon. As time goes by, I’ll assess whether the benefits of KDP Select are worth the exclusivity and see what makes sense for the future of the book. Amazon provides apps and readers that enable you to read a book downloaded from Amazon on many devices (including your computer, if all else fails), so I hope that you still check out the novel even if you’re not a Kindle owner.
