I am nearing the end of the first draft of the first fantasy nove
l in my epic fantasy series! There are only two more chapters to go, and then I will be DONE! (Just kidding . . . then it will be time for editing, proofreading, etc., etc., etc.) I’m aiming for a summer release for the novel. The exact timing will of course depend on how long it takes me to do the editing.
But in the meantime, I have drawn a map of the part of Mirynthir where the first novel takes place. I’m really excited with how it turned out! I’m not a graphical wizard by any stretch of the imagination, and there are lots of tricks that I’m learning as I play around with my graphics software (I use GIMP), but I have to say that I’m pretty proud of what I came up with. Let me know what you think of the map, and I’ll be sure to keep you posted as the novel works its way towards release! I have also added a new page to the website where information about the Mirynthir Chronicles will reside. The map is already up in there, as well as a tentative blurb for the first book of the series, The Awakening.
